MT350 garage/mechanic in Brighton area
Thanks to Filbay for the garage recommendation in Hampshire - could do with one closer to home though if possible.
I purchased my MT350 with a plan to teach myself enough to keep her on the road. Sadly, life's got in the way so far and I've yet to wield a spanner in anger.
As the MOT looms closer I'd like to know that I've got a fall-back of a garage/mechanic I can trust. If any fellow MT350 lover knows one they would trust theirs with I'd be grateful to hear from you.
Cheers, Jim

You need to find an old school outfit They should cope with a bike that doesn't have a diagnostic plug That said, they would probably appreciate a download of the manual (s)
Ensure that any MOT guy is aware beforehand that on MTs the sidestand tensions the chain

Re: MT350 garage/mechanic in Brighton area
Thanks guys - hadn't realised that the MOT had actually run out in January so lucky not to get a tug from the boys in blue since then. As soon as I realised I booked into a Council MOT place the next day and she passed with an advisory about the clutch pulling in first only.
That gives me a year to start playing and figure out which end of a spanner does what. I look forward to pestering you over the coming months.
Cheers, Jim

As the User Car Salesman would say 'They all do that Sir'
You can easily strip the clutch and file out any grooves in the clutch basket, renew springs and check plates are in tolerance, which will help. When the engine is warm the problem goes away. Changing your oil just before the MOT may also be worthwhile
