Yep, thats what we had on stock 604's Throbs was the same with a Keihen Carb but smooth linear power. With a bit - a fair bit of tuning we can can get a lot more!

after returning from the dyno i realised the rear shock was way too hard [too much preload on the spring]
so i reduced it only to find the bike sitting too low,
while at the dyno shop i discussed this and the lad there showed me some adjustable top suspension mounts [they set up race bikes]
so i've made a start on my own,
isambard would be proud.
