Good bike, nice exhaust, great engine and in fantastic orange. The Dutch chapter approves the colour :D

i got the mt bearing seats machined out as far as poss to take the ktm tapered bearings,

i did have better details from when i first did it on the Dakar bike thingy i made a while back, but when the site went down it got lost.

Thanks Dave. So you machined the Head stock on the frame? Just looking what I need to do as I want to do the same on my 604.

no steve , just machine the bearing cup,
the top picture shows standard mt cup with ktm roller not seating very far down
middle picture shows modified mt cup with ktm roller sat about 75% in [this is the max you can get with standard modified cup]
bottom picture shows a standard and modified cup [they look different diameters but they are the same i guess its the perspective of the photo]
you just tap these back into the standard frame head-stock.
