Another lovely conversion, feeling like I've defiled mine with disc brakes seeing these nice twin leading setups

We are having to use drum brakes to race in twinshock racing as most state air cooled and drum brakes in rules .

That's fair enough, with the regs for that aside from the twinshock/drum/air cooled are you free to change what you want?

Yes can change anything ! In some classic racing, age determines what can be done , pre 65, pre 74 etc.
But most club racing have to mix early evo bikes (pre 1989) to make up the numbers if classes to small.
I've got different piston and 560 mx head /cam to fit sometime. But want to get all mods / problems ironed out before I strip bike and paint etc .
Plus I'm only just getting back into motocross after a 28yr break !!! So I'm taking it steady at the moment.

Well I survived my first motocross meeting for 28years.
The mt went very well , front forks and tls brake have transformed bike ( although rear suspension needs some work now ) . I need to get a bit fitter now , and loose a bit of weight but that will improve and got another race next Sunday. Need to get fox airshocks fitted by then, I'm going to move swing arm shock mounts as well.
I will add some more pictures later, and my brother (Cheese mt500) will probably put a few on as well ( he did very well on his - two 11th places and a 9th - and 10th overall in class. )
