I had a great time, thanks to Steve for organising the trip. Thanks to Garry and all the others that put in such a lot of work into making it a very enjoyable weekend.

I've made a note to get a couple of spare chain links in my tool bag!

The reason this weekend was a success was not just down to me, I only had the initial idea. As all the other posts acknowledge, a big thanks must go to Gary, Geoff and Dave. Next year will rely on a similar effort from a team of members. Without them it wouldn't be so good.

I spoke with Tree at the Workhouse and the date for your diary will be 28th - 30th April.

Thanks again to all those who got stuck in to make this a great weekend!

I'll compile a 'Post Exercise Report' (PXR) as mentioned to bring out the good bits and lessons learnt in order to have bikes and people better prepared for the next ride out. I'll start a new thread entitled Post Ride Out Report..

Hopefully it will then be there for reference so we can all check prior to setting off on our adventures!

Cheers

Thanks Steve for organising a great weekend. :D
It is so nice to be able to travel light and not have to mess about with tent and sleeping bag. The only downside is the snoring and farting all night (sorry). Great to have breakfast sorted too.
Sorry to all for turning up with a broken sprag again, it broke the morning I left honest ! Thanks for all the help kicking and bump starting. Those 405's sure have good compression. ;) Will fix it properly this time.
Steve was lucky to get away on the ride and leave me, Frank and Hogan in the sulky club. But I managed to get away later and found the rideout group.
Thanks to Geoff for the interesting route with plenty of mud and water. 8-) And thanks to Lawnseed for showing us bits to avoid.
I look forward to the next time. :D

I've just had an email from Tree.

"We're home and Mair is absolutely fine. Back to her normal jumping bean self.
I'm very sorry I had to abandon you and I'm very grateful to Zarena for stepping in. I hear all went well. I hope you all had a good weekend.
I've pencilled you in for the 26th-28th April 2019.
Best wishes
Tree"
