At Northampton we were talking about the annual club meeting and how much some of us missed the Stafford venue because it gave us something to do over the full weekend. As we all know the venue has been set for this year but my local bike club have been invited to the MCN show at Peterborough in May. Apparently there's lots of entertainment over the weekend and they not only welcome clubs but offer substantial discounts too. I was thinking if a few of us went there, we could perhaps recce it out to see if it would make a suitable venue for the future.
Two other things in its favour: Peterborough is fairly central to the country and it's in May so the camping might have a chance of being a bit drier. It's also quite close to chateau Shiney so royalty should be well catered for...
This is the show that has replaced the BMF rally so should be worth going to in any case.
Your thoughts would be appreciated.
