Post by Fredog » Tue Apr 24, 2018 7:29 pm

Is there anybody we can contact to find the military history of our machines through? Would love to know what she got up to in her service years.

Thanks in advance,

John

If you know what the military registration number was you can send a Freedom of Information request to the MOD asking for its service history.

I just gave MOD the frame number and they traced 2 MT350 on that information

Don't expect too much , all you get is the briefest of detail arrived at depot +date, issued to unit A +date, issued to unit B/ depot + date Even if you find the unit's deployment, there's no guarantee that the bike went

You may find sand hidden somewhere but whether it came from Afganistan or Clacton, you'll never know

Full service histories are supposed to be destroyed on disposal, but I have seen some in left in trucks and one member recently said he had some for a couple of MTs
