The Caberg is also on my list of possibles, especially as it has a Sharp 5 start rating.

Is it comfortable for longer rides? And is it noisy?

Also how does it come out size wise? My hat size is around a 57, but I have tried on and been looking at small helmets that are 55/56 as I think a medium - 57/58 might be a touch too big.

Sorry, I can't give a comparison with other types. I do usually ride with the visor slightly raised, to give airflow over my face, which does make it a bit noisier than when it's down. But I can always hear the MT engine :D

I have noticed that I don't hear the engine on my Honda CB500F when I have the visor slightly raised, under 30mph.

So, the Bell is a bit of a wind trap then, right.

I've just looked at the Biltwell range, some of them remind me of the late 1970's when me and many of the guys I used to ride with got our first full face helmets. I went for an Owens, as I rode a Royal Enfield Continental GT at the time and the place I got spares from in Bristol sold them. Another mate got a Griffin, I think Premier and Bell were others we looked at, but they were out of our price range.

Take a look at the Nitro MX650.
Very comfortable and I think well suited to the MT. These are around the ÂŁ60 - ÂŁ70 mark
