Was set to remove the shocks to send off to falcon for rebuild. But wanted to take the bike for a spin first, 3 weeks of being stood due to snow and bike won’t start:/ since I got the bike back I got lazy and did not give the bike a coat of acf50 a few slot of places are rusting:/

Lesson learnt I guess

The road to the just-possible is littered with pot holes

I have every confidence that you'll work something out
Good luck

Hi folks and I know this is tempting fate but here we go.
Home from work.
Pulled MT500 out of the garage.
Not started since I collected it last week from Roy, thanks Roy.
Fitted new cam belt, thanks Gary, great advice.
It started second kick from cold..........
Quick spin up the lane, grinning like a daft thing.
Off for an MOT asap.

I’m quite happy, is this how it goes????????
