Drained fuel tank and emptied the rust out ,cleaned new carb out ran it on a slave tank all ok now dumped it in the garden until I can finally find a good tank or a plastic one this bike has been a pain in the butt since I've had it and totally unreliable but can't give up cos when it does work it's great but for a week or so it can stew in the garden!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just ordered a new front brake cable guide from force, my old one has finally worn through, was going to weld it back up but discovered it was rusted solid and destroyed the screw using an impact wrench so will have to cut it off.

Took mine for brief spin during lunch break only to my self and the bike caked in mud from the dirt on the road. Gave it a quick rinse

Then a few minutes ago waved it good bye when 2wheels transport collected it. It's on its way to Minter at sportax :D

TRAGEDY. It's just failed its MOT on the front wheel bearings. I certainly didn't expect that as I've only just rebuilt the front wheel complete with new bearings. I have yet to have a look but can't understand how they could be fitted wrong????

What was the problem? - was the wheel simply binding or was there excessive play on the spindle?
