Welcome to the forum.
If you look in the Tutorials section you will find a thread Initial Servicing Guide. It might give a few clues as to what to look for

Your choice is to buy commercially or privately

Either way you buy, check the bike for yourself. Service everything and these bikes usually work, the odd electrical glitch may appear if you're unlucky

If you haven't seen an MT up close, see if you can find a forum member who has the time to show you his bike
