MT headed!

Post by Noah Hope » Fri Feb 08, 2019 10:59 am

Hi,
Just a quick "Hi" to all from Derby . I enlisted ..err...joined yesterday having finally got my first MT500 a couple of weeks ago. Was always on my shopping list and finally one now sitting in my shed. A visit to Force earlier in the week for some parts proved a fruitful and excellent experience. Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Fettling almost done and Mot next on list.
looking forward to thumping around tarmac and turf :) :)

No Hope.

I wish I'd thought of that.

Welcome.

Thanks for the warm welcome you guys.
The more my spanners turn, the more I read , the more these MT's creep under my skin. The same happened 40 odd years ago with Guzzis and I've been scratching that itch ever since! Just as well I have a full set of metric hammers!!! :)

You only need one imperial spanner, a deep socket to reach the primary oil filter ( 1/2" or 9/16" ? Can't remember) but that only needs checking every 29 February
