Welcome rujjeb. At least you have it running, so it's going the right way.

Check the cam-belt, it can run but be rough when it's a tooth out. If you don't have the workshop manuals then have a look around the forum, there are links to them somewhere.

It's worth making sure you are using fresh fuel. Modern fuels deteriorate after a few months. As said earlier, check the carb rubbers,the carb to engine rubber can get split which will give a weak mixture.
