Welcome to the forum
The main problem new MT500 owners report is actually starting their bike

Carb set up is key, followed by technique Use forum Search facility and have a good look around If the engine doesn't fire up after 4 or 5 kicks, the plug will be wet and is more difficult/ impossible to start One owner used to swap for a dry plug, finding that the easiest solution Others flog away getting increasingly annoyed
