That sounds like a great bike and is probably what I'm after. How did you fit the 600 engine into the MT500 frame?

The engine mounts are the same. The frame however needs to be modified to accept the starter motor. Some frames were modified by an enthusiastic amatuer but subsequently were repaired by a professional welder.

Also worth noting, the 500s are that bit older , some owners have made up new wiring looms to solve electrical issues

Spaceman. My brother mentioned the other day that a friend of his may be thinking of selling his electric start Armstrong which I believe has a Harley front disk conversion. If you are interested, I would be happy to try to get more information and some contact details?

I would be very interested in the bike and would be grateful for more info on the bike's history if possible.

Spaceman. According to my brother, the guy may be selling an Armstrong MT560e. Apparently, the bike is in very good condition and was completely re-built along with the engine. I believe it has a Harley front end and the pannier racks are still fitted. Not sure why he is selling it but I'll try to get hold of his contact details and PM them to you. Hope this helps.
