Re: New member

Welcome. Good advice from Wirralman, I would recommend at least re-adjusting the clutch. Mine was starting to be difficult to select neutral when stationary but re-did the clutch setting and now goes into neutral without a problem. Many owners carry a spare clutch cable and timing belt as these are ...

Re: SOS

Welcome Sergiy, I'm not sure if there are other members of the forum who have registered an MT350 in Spain. They were only purchased by the military, so did not go thorough the same certification as bikes sold on the civilian market. I can only suggest doing a swap with someone who has one in the UK...

Re: Newbie

Welcome to the forum.

If you don't find a suitable MT500, then consider the MT350. They are very similar, but newer, with electric start and disc brakes.

Re: The new guy

There will be a gang getting together in the Forest of Dean very soon, have a look in the Meetings/ Rid...

Welcome Bab. There is not much you can't do on the MT with no more than a good set of tools. There are some specific tools which make like easier. There are manuals available to download via the forum, and plenty of information.

Welcome to the forum. Keep a look out in the Sales section and you can post what you are after in the Wanted, if you have particular requirements.

Re: Newbie andover

Welcome to the club. I'll be looking out for MTs at the RTTW, but I'll be taking my Honda Pan rather than the MT350. The MT is not a difficult bike to strip to the frame and repaint. Some do get the metalwork shot-blasted and powder coated, but many brush or spray. Rebuilding the engine is more of a...
