Re: For aviation geeks only

Apparently a nightmare aircraft to land on a carrier because of the tall undercarriage and very long nose in front of the pilot. The British tamed the landing of the Corsair by perfecting a curved approach so that you could then see what you were landing on!

Thanks but that's not the part I'm after - it's the sump on the engine itself.
You mean the sump cover! I may have one that you can have free of charge - I'll let you know when I get back from Brum later.

Hi. Could you please clarify whether this is a standard 350cc H-D MT350 rather than a 500c model?

Re: New Member

That sounds like a great bike and is probably what I'm after. How did you fit the 600 engine into the MT500 frame?

Re: New Member

I appreciate all the feedback and it now looks as though I need an 500e engined MT with at least a front disk brake! Re: New Member

Welcome to the forum Why do you want one ? There are better off roaders, there are better road bikes That's a very good question. I presently ride a BMW F650GS Dakar which is a very good bike for road and green lane use but I was looking for something a bit more basic that I could have a bit of fun...

Hi. Iam looking to get an MT500 or MT350 in the near future and am hoping I can get some information from the forum regarding which is the better one to go for. At the moment it looks like a choice between a smaller engined but more modern bike with electric start and disk brakes versus a more power...
