Re: Trip

I suppose the answer is to fit a tap with a reserve setting and a main.....does such a thing exist for MT500?

Re: Trip

Dans....Thank you
Barrie.....Neccessity is the mother of invention etc!
Wirral.....to general a search

All, what I want to to do is set the trip so I know roughly when to fill up (150 miles?), the other answer is to carry a 2l fuel bottle that becomes my reserve.

Re: VIN numbers - I want yours.......

MT 500
C701 FAH
193205 - looks like it has been done by hand
000610 - the 10 is slightly offset

Q1. What does this tell me about the provenance of the machine?
Q2. Who do I write to for the military records?

Greetings all, Army (RMP 77-84, AAC 84-present), learnt on a BSA B40 and remember the transition to these machines. Rode them a fair amount, liked the power delivery although the CofG after the B40 concentrated the mind in the early days.....not as much as my first go on a Norton rotary - no engine ...
