Have you tried riding two up on the standard seat?..... we did 8,000 miles 2-up on a standard seat, with a large sock stuffed in the gap between the seat and the rack for added comfort (although we did move the rack back two inches).... it must have been comfortable enough as Ruth has now married me...

For a while I had a couple of bright spots to help on the rural Welsh lanes late at night but found they drained the battery and the low voltage light would come on after a few minutes....

They'll run heated grips okay.... quite a few have added a 12v socket but I don't think anyone will admit to having tried a heated vest on this site...

I've enjoyed making long trips on my MT but they're not the most comfortable of bikes.... I set off on my first trip to Russia on my MT only a month after buying it and was pretty lucky.... only my centre stand springs went, followed by my carb hose, followed by carb problems, followed by my rear br...

Looks a great route Steve...... at the moment I don't have a suitable bike for a trip but hope to rebuild one by summer..... I'm hoping to make it to the Ireland meet up in springtime.... not sure about Stafford.... I'm not decided yet what to do in summer yet but I'm not ruling this out... it would...
