US Spec 500e Headlight

I’ve nearly finished a project of converting a 350 into a US spec 500e. I’ve managed to get all the US specific parts (bar the headlight) and a 500e engine rebuilt (thanks to Nick at Force and Gary at Sportax). I have a US headlight cowl but ideally I could do with the US spec headlight that fits in...

Re: HD owners club

To be a member of a Harley Owners Club it’s fairly obvious that you need to own a Harley. As an MT 350 is as Harley as any of the other Harley models, having been built by Harley in the USA, you can join the Owners clubs. I own MTs and am in the Rutland Chapter of the Harley Owners Group (HOG).

Re: Loss of power

Have you checked the carb diaphragm rubber, under the carb top plate, as suggested by Minter?

Re: A Yorkshire Joke.

It borders on the ridiculous; a Yorkshireman spending money?........ it's as unfeasable as Harry Potter; a ginger kid with two friends!

Re: dual seat, and mirrors

It felt quite secure when I unbolted it from the rack when I bought the bike but I've never used it as I don't carry a pillion. Those two brackets fit inside the outer two rails of the rack. I've just looked and two holes have been drilled in the side of the rack and that's where it was bolted on. I...

Re: dual seat, and mirrors

Photos of pilion pad. It's probably safe to say best used without the gunbox! It bolts to the top of the rack. If interested let me know. If not no worries but I doubt I will ever use it.

Re: dual seat, and mirrors

The pillion pad came on a 350 that I bought. I took it off so have never used it. It seems to be the same padding and material as the seat and bolts to the rack. I'm in the US at the mo but back Monday when I can send you a picture of it on/off the bike. Mike.
