Will you would be putting too much strain on the panniers? They have a weight limit of 7.5kgs (or is it 10kgs?) and with the weight of the rack plus whatever it carries.... surely it would be overloaded.

They look similar to mine. Mine's an L&L Easylift. I think it was about £240 about 10 years ago. I use it a lot and wouldn't be without it. Don't get one too wide and make sure it has loops to ratchet the bike to. If you've got loads of room you could knock up a fixed bench to work on. I've made the...

On mine I dropped the forks in the yokes 40mm and bought 400mm Hagons which were 40mm shorter. Order direct from Hagon and you can have the spring to suit your weight and type of riding. I also shortened the side stand and welded a peg on so I can flip the stand down before getting off. It makes a w...
