Re: Original Silencer ( Muffler) for MT500 or WHY ?

George (P.I.STAKER) , member on here used to have re-conditioned original silencers which looked great. Worth asking?

Re: MT350 tour of Yorkshire lanes

Start was Cowling, Ilkley Moor, Ilkley, Bolton Abbey, Skyreholme, Pateley Bridge, Lofthouse, Grewelthorpe, Masham, Leyburn, Castle Bolton, kettlewell, Skipton Cowling. Only 4 MT350s. I just thought it was a nice write-up. I have wanted to come on your weekends but I always have something else on and...

MT350 tour of Yorkshire lanes

There's a 4 page write-up of one of Diesel Dave's tours of the Yorkshire Dales in Real Classic October 2019. The article features 4 MT350s on 140 mile run, mostly unpaved lanes. (Probably a bit tame compared to Bonnylad's runs but looks interesting).

Re: Joined today

Hi Micky,
be carefull buying an un-registered MT. It needs to come with form 654, the release form from the army proving it's age. DVLA are tightening up on this. Dave.

That's the one. You only use part of the wider end.

Re: MT350

Gary at Sportaxracing or Force Motorcycles have them. The airbox to carb is a swine to get on and I got one of these off ebay : Shaftec CBK3000 Bootkit, about a tenner posted. Its a good alternative and easier to fit. Cut to length with a craftknife. As a temporary measure you can wrap insulation ta...

Re: MT350

Eric, you mean the mixture screw which is accessed by carefully drilling out the soft plug. It has a very fine point and you need to be carefull not to loose the spring, washer and 'O' ring if you remove it for cleaning out. The main jet is a removeable but not adjustable, you would need to change f...

Re: MT350

Fit a 42 slow jet. Mine ticks over lovely from cold and I can almost ride it immediately. My enrichener (choke) is off within a mile and the plug is a good colour - a mid to light brown. I've done all the carb mods but I still have the standard filter at the moment. I'll fit a free-flowing K&N type ...

Re: Introduction

You need the MOD release form 654. You need to order on-line form V55/5 from the DVLA. Do a search on here on how to fill it in. If you go on DVLA website it tells you the latest things you need. It's quite easy if you have form 654.
Cheers Dave.
