We've done this a few times for customers now and vice versa to give my scramble Armstrong MT600 more travel.. I've done this on mine. How did you get over the brake cable being too short? It doesn't matter on the scrambles bikes but I had to make a 3inch longer cable for it to fit over the origina...

Sounds like you're having fun already!
You can lower the front end even more by swapping the camper rods for MT500 ones..
We've done this a few times for customers now and vice versa to give my scramble Armstrong MT600 more travel..

We often get damaged exhaust stud heads in our workshop. We let our local profesional aluminium welder do that job but we do all the drilling etc and recomend the use of a timesert. The torque of the new stud should only be 8Nm. We also use new hardened studs and stainless spring washers for clampin...
