Came to replace rear brake shoes, noticed wheel bearings seal has come off, ordered new bearings, whilst fitting them noticed a couple of spokes had broken again! Decided to replace them all so have just ordered new ones from central wheels. While I am waiting for them Ill get the hub and rim powder...

Bonnielad, nice job, one bit of advice, I used the same front guard, bloody useless in mud and rain, it all comes back in your face! I reverted back to stock guard.

Just replace indicator bulb, its been in there at least 20 years and been in use nearly every day for that time period. Thought it was quite impressive until I noticed it was 6V, now I'm really impressed!

Just spent the most frustrating three hours of my life trying to get sump plate o ring to stay in place long enough to refit it! New one is slightly too long and the little ears do not hold it in place, every time I got one end in the other popped out, Tried reuusing the old one, same problem, even...

Just spent the most frustrating three hours of my life trying to get sump plate o ring to stay in place long enough to refit it! Changed worn distanzias for Heidenou k60 at the weekend, been riding through crap weather and am impressed with levels of grip on the road, also replaced front mudguard as old one had gone fragile and snapped when I leant on it refitting the wheel!. Are you using the mt on salted roads and keeping the triumph for summer? If so it could be dried salt on the mt drawing moisture from the air. If so you need to wash it before you put it away.

Just ordered a new front brake cable guide from force, my old one has finally worn through, was going to weld it back up but discovered it was rusted solid and destroyed the screw using an impact wrench so will have to cut it off.

I wouldnt bother with an original fusebox, they are crap and prone to breaking and fuse corrosion.I got through 3 in 10 years, eventually replaced with a small blade fusebox from vehicle wiring products, its been on there for 6 years without problems.
